Aquarius Boys

I .. dunno what happened. I wanted to actually make this in the traditional way, but after using the Faber Castell Artist Pen in black and teal, I found out that the lineart was just perfect as it is to use it in a computer coloured picture..? Uhm well. It was fun to draw anyhow.
So, I had this idea to draw the two fictional characters I am kinda crushing on in one picture. Fun thing is, it seems that the fictional type of guy I am attracted to would be people who share the zodiac sign of Aquarius. And have violet eyes. Beautiful violet eyes that can stare into your very soul and see all that is hidden there. ̶Ac̶̶t̶̶u̶̶a̶̶l̶̶l̶̶y̶̶,̶̶ ̶̶i̶̶n̶̶ ̶̶m̶̶e̶̶w̶̶t̶̶w̶̶o̶'̶s̶̶ ̶̶c̶̶a̶̶s̶̶e̶̶,̶̶ ̶̶h̶̶e̶̶ ̶̶t̶̶o̶̶t̶̶a̶̶l̶̶l̶̶y̶̶ ̶̶c̶̶o̶̶u̶̶l̶̶d̶̶ ̶̶d̶̶o̶̶ ̶̶t̶̶h̶̶a̶̶t̶̶ ̶̶b̶̶e̶̶c̶̶a̶̶u̶̶s̶̶e̶̶ ̶̶h̶̶e̶'̶s̶̶ ̶̶p̶̶s̶̶y̶̶c̶̶h̶̶i̶̶c̶̶,̶̶ ̶̶h̶̶a̶̶h̶̶a̶̶.̶

Soo yeah. Eridan is Aquarius, as is Mewtwo (Mewtwo was "born" on the 6th February in the Pokemon games).
Aquarius is known as the "water bearer" - but unlike what one would think, this zodiac sign is not a water but an air element.

I always had the feeling that the sign of Aquarius is pretty fitting for Mewtwo - People with Aquarius as their zodiac sign are known to be philosophers who love to encounter the next riddle to think about. In Mewtwo Returns, Mewtwo smiled when Meowth-two posed him the question why their group sees the Moon in the same way as the natural born Pokemon but not the Earth they all inhabit. Also, Mewtwo needs freedom - an Aquarius that is told how to act and what to think will not be able to bear this for long - and Mewtwo bailed on Giovanni who did just that and wanted to control every aspect of Mewtwo. Also, Aquarius are people who need to be in a group of like-minded individuals, and he cloned his own group to belong to.

Eridan, well. He was created to be a representation of Aquarius so... one thing about him would be that he cannot handle his own feelings very well which leads to problems with all of his relationships, and Aquarians can be very detached from their feelings and not know how to handle them, so this kinda fits too.

So yeah. I was surprised to see no fanart with both Mewtwo and Eridan and got around to do this. Instead of water, they pour "psychic energy", because this sign is all about the mind.
