Mummymon and Arukenimon

welcome to the newest fantrip of me. O___O
Seriously, I never thought I would EVER draw Digimon again. I did it like, 8 or even 9 years ago, I dunno the exact date anymore, but back then I used to draw Veemon and Gatomon a bunch and I totally loved the show. I was a fan of Gatomon and Veemon and Kari x Davis.... sigh... BUT.... I LOOOOOVED Arukenimon x Mummymon.
Okay, the complete story of this picture is this:

The German TV currently shows Digimon Adventure 02, and I am watching it to recall the good old times of my childhood. Now that I finally have gotten fast internet, my bro and me discovered, that ALL of the german dubbed episodes are on youtube to watch as well. so, I was watching a bit farer than they are on TV. And suddenly, this woman in a red dress comes into view in one of the youtube episodes and suddenly I was all like "WAIT... that woman... I know that she had a frigging cool name... and I know that I LOVED her back then for more than just one reason." Then... HE pops up into the scene, calls out her cool name, and all of a sudden I remembered one of my first pairing flashes of my early childhood.

How could I forget them??? Arukenimon and Mummymon!!! ___ Those two are just frigging awesome. The were practically the first couple that I loved in my life. Seriously.
Okay, I dunno if they really are a couple, because Arukenimon died before she was able to find out that she loves Mummymon as well.
But just to see them again made me so happy, I am flying through the whole week currently. *__*

..and they explain my love for sadomaso-pairings. I would not love Yubel x Juudai or Kiryu x Aki if it weren't for these two. Mummymon is so maso and Arukenimon is so sado. PERFECT!

It is also so cute how he is always trying to make her happy or to approach her, and all she does is to reject him, or slap him. Slapstick romance... haaaah. ^___^ Those are rare to find nowadays, in the era of bad dubs especially. But luckily, the german dub of Digimon is as closely to the japanese as possible. It contains all of the japanese text, and music, just with the difference that the names are taken from the english dub.
Comparison showed to me anyway that American dubs tend to censor alot of things even back then O__O But I have fallen in love with the Filipino english version, because that is the only uncensored english version I know of.
I AM SO HAPPY THE GERMAN DUB IS SO GREAT! It is one of the few german dubs that come from a time before bad american censored stuff flooded away the originals. Even the voice actors were chosen well, and the mention of death and torture is still there!!


But anyway, the two are cute. Arukenimon with her really short temper and Mummymon with his patience who never will give up to be close to HIS Arukenimon. And that he truly loved her is shown when she dies and he states "I don't have a reason to live without her". It was so cute. and I still hate Myotismon for killing them off. Myotismon in general killed of all my fav characters. >___< Demidevimon for example. and my fav couple.

so, for your enjoyment, go to youtube and search for the episodes in the search bar. you might look through the video until you see a female in a red dress coming up along with a guy in dark blue. That's them. Arukenimon and Mummymon.
